  1. Hi, Erick! This is a great, insightful, joyful conversation that reminds one that justification is a miracle. We don’t often see, or hear, those words conjoined, but we should! The transition from the state of Original Sin to that of sanctifying grace and adoptive sonship—which is no mere decree but an effective, Divine act of which man is the beneficiary—is miraculous. To my mind, it is ever helpful to recall that, while sin is man’s idea (imitative of Satan and his cohorts), in eternity the Redemption is God’s idea. Truly, “If God be for us, who can be against us?” (Rom. 8:31b) Answer: Ourselves May God grant us the gift of the power of perseverance in friendship with Him. Amen
